USS Macross NX-74916

Following the Dominion War, the federation decided to drastically re-think their policy of exploration. As a result several members of the ASDB begin looking at creating a new class of starship designed more for defence on the frontier and to reinforce the Bajorian Sector in case the Dominion decided ignore the peace treaty, this ship would be more along the lines of the Defiant Class starship that had proven do versatile during the war.

This class was also designated to act as a command and control ship for the new Valkyrie-class and Thunderbolt Veri-tech type fighter, developed on the USS Voyager http://robotech1984.deviantart.com/art/Thunder-flash-Mk3-136575400 as well as a full range of shuttles and other support ships, in both fleet and individual missions.

Copyright I don't own either Star Trek, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Robotech or Macross. This is based off the SDF 1 from Macross designed by Kazutaka Miyatake equipped with two ARMD carriers, the background is a piece by is by John Eaves for the Star Trek ships of the line calendar for the enterprise-e shuttle bay, http://johneaves.wordpress.com/2011/05/05/the-enterprise-e-shuttle-bay-from-the-sotl-calendar/planetv-scape-2/

This was created after watching wayyy to much Robotech/ Macross and Deep Space Nine.

It's finished

It's finished my personal take on Fleet Station Vincennes from a story on fanfic.net, basically it is a space dock that is designed to serve the same purpose as Earth's space dock from Star Trek, as well as Babylon 5 from the series called Babylon 5, with a hint of starship troopers thrown in for good measure but for the Stargate universe.

Personally I don't like how this has turned out but after spending the last 240 something hours on it, I feel t is done and that if i did any more to it I would spoil it.

Quick and Dirty work

A quick and dirty piece which is all digital, and as I haven't done any drawing, traditional or digital in ages, I feel like I'm back at high school I feel that it is ok, will be replacing with a clean version when it's done.

Fighter Squadron returning home to earth

This is something that I did on the train the other day, I only claim credit for the fighters only, the background is a concept piece from the concept artist John Eaves that has worked on multiple scifi and action films, including Star Trek, G.I. Joe: the rise of cobra and Die Hard 2 (uncredited), therefore don't burn me or sue me over using his work for a back ground image.
